Problems in Families

Problems usually arise when a person no longer is able to cope with their problems. Not all family problems involve the law but when they become harmful the law may be needed to intervene for the physical or emotional well-being of family members.

Traditionally what happened in the family home was a private matter that the law did not become involved in. Fortunately times have changed and women are no longer at the mercy of abusive or neglegent partners ( and vice-versa in rarer occasions)
